Reminder: Availity for Claims and More for Healthy Blue + Medicare
Please note: This communication applies to Healthy Blue + MedicareSM (HMO D-SNP) offered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC).
This is a reminder that beginning Jan. 1, 2021, the Availity Portal will be your exclusive secure website to access many of your HMO D-SNP online tools and resources. Please do not submit claims to Blue Cross NC.
- Visit the Healthy Blue + Medicare provider page.
- To submit claims, click the "Go to Availity” button.
- For more details, including how to register for the Availity portal and get training resources, view our original article on Availity.
- The Healthy Blue + Medicare Payer ID is North Carolina - 00602. Please make note of this Payer ID as it will route EDI transactions to the appropriate payer.
- For additional training and information, click on "Electronic Data Interchange Overview” and "Remittance Reference Guide."
- To submit claims, click the "Go to Availity” button.
