Please note, this communication applies to Healthy Blue + MedicareSM (HMO D-SNP) offered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Beginning January 1, 2022, Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) and Medicare Medicaid Plans (MMPs) are responsible for adjudicating claims for COVID-19 vaccines and their administration and for COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies and their administration. Compensation for these services will be based on the provider's contract.
