Blue Cross NC conducts annual NCQA provider assessment for directory
As part of Blue Cross NC’s NCQA accreditation requirements, the Provider Data Management department will be conducting an annual assessment of its provider directories for
- accuracy of office locations and phone numbers
- hospital affiliations
- accepting new patients
- awareness of physician office staff of physician’s participation in Blue Cross NC’s networks
During the month of August, Blue Cross NC will send a random sample of providers an email with a survey link. The survey will take less than two minutes to complete.
The results of the survey will be used to fulfill Blue Cross NC’s NCQA network management standards and identify future opportunities for improving directory accuracy.
