Consolidated Appropriations Act - Key Information for Providers
In December 2020, the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) was signed into law. The CAA requires all health payers to request their providers attest to their demographic information every 90 days to keep the information current. To remain in alignment with this legislation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) is required to maintain accurate demographic information for its providers.
More information on the CAA can be found here: Text - H.R.133 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 | Congress.gov | Library of Congress
Additional information will be provided in early 2022.
