Reminder: Process Changes to Medical Drug Authorizations
Effective April 28, 2021, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC)'s Corporate Pharmacy department began reviewing medical drug authorizations in a two-part phased approach. Phase 1 began on April 28, 2021 and Phase 2 will begin on or about June 16, 2021. Phase 1 drugs have new forms that can be faxed to fax number (888-348-7332). For faster service please submit these authorization requests via CoverMyMeds.com.
