Blue Cross NC Expands BlueHPN to Fully Insured Groups
Effective July 1, 2022, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) is excited to announce the Blue High Performance Network℠ (BlueHPN℠) is now available to Fully Insured Groups in addition to the current Administrative Services Only (ASO) offering.
All members within the Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO Benefit Plan) may have out-of-network benefits for urgent care and emergent care. Learn more about EPO benefits under BlueHPN.
Members should receive care from in-network providers. Participating BlueHPN providers can be located by using the Find Care online tool or through Blue Cross NC’s customer service department. Members may incur significant out-of-pocket expenses when out-of-network providers are used.
