Creating a user ID and password

To submit an application with Blue Cross NC, you will need to create a user ID and password. Your user ID needs to be at least 6 characters long and may be a combination of letters or numbers. Special characters are not allowed (such as *, @, %).

Your password must be at least 6 characters long and must contain at least one number or symbol.

You only need one user ID and password. You can use this user ID for multiple applications, and you can use the same user ID to access Blue Connect after you purchase your Blue Cross NC plan.

Text box

There is a maximum of 256 characters allowed in the text boxes that request information about certain health conditions. Special characters (such as *, @, %) are not allowed and will cause errors.

Receiving Blue Cross NC email

Blue Cross NC email may be filtered out by some email providers as "spam." If you are expecting an email from Blue Cross NC and you have not received it in your inbox, it might be in your "junk" folder. Check with your email provider to learn how to add BlueAdv-Info.PO2.BCBSNC@bcbsnc.com and rate-quote@bcbsnc.com to your "safe" list.
