Substance Use Disorder Resource Flyer
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina posted a communication on November 22, 2024, Inappropriate Enrollment and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services. We want to reiterate our commitment to ensuring that our members have access to high-quality mental health services that are safe and effective.
In support of this, we have highlighted North Carolina resources on a flyer (PDF) to help our members find safe and affordable care closer to their community, so they can access the benefits of SUD treatment programs as intended. Additionally, we’ve created a new Substance Use Disorder page: Member Substance Use page.
As a courtesy, we are asking our North Carolina providers to display the attached flyer in their offices and Emergency Rooms to empower members to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
We appreciate your support in sharing this important resource with our members.
