Blue Cross NC Systems Impacted by Global Microsoft Issues

Blue Cross NC systems are experiencing temporary outages due to the global Microsoft issues. The outage may prevent providers from logging into Blue e. It also may prevent Blue e users from using the following Blue e transactions: CMS1500 Claim Entry, UB04 Claim Entry, Health Eligibility, Claim Status for Out of State members, Remittance Inquiry, Clear Claim Connection and Lab Claim Advice.

In the interim, providers may choose to submit a paper claim. Information on how to submit paper claims can be found on the provider section of our webpage: https://www.bluecrossnc.com/providers/claims-appeals-inquiries.
