In an article last year, we introduced enhanced features designed to save time and reduce administrative burden. These tools include:

Precheck feature

Precheck takes the guesswork out of determining whether a service or code requires prior authorization:

• When you submit a request, Precheck alerts you if the CPT/HCPCS code does not require prior authorization. If no authorization is needed, you can print a confirmation screen for your records.
• If the request should be submitted to a third-party vendor, Precheck will direct you where to go.
• This saves time and eliminates the need to call or search the prior authorization list.

Cite AutoAuth prior authorization

Cite AutoAuth helps you get the fastest response to your prior authorization requests so you can focus on patient care. Key features include:

• Immediate determination: Receive an approval or pend status within seconds. 
• No phone calls or faxes are required.
• Upload clinical documentation to support your request.
