Launching June 13, 2025, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s (Blue Cross NC) Concierge Member Outreach team will begin a two-way SMS (text) wellness campaign with select Affordable Care Act (ACA) Small/Local Employer Groups and Individual Under 65 (IU65) members.
The campaign goals are to educate and assist members with Primary Care Physician (PCP) selection, answer any questions and schedule a routine physical exam, an Annual Preventive Visit (APV), and/or an In-Home Assessment (IHA).
Targeted ACA members will be contacted starting June 16, 2025, through two-way texting, scheduled calling, and/or voicemail drops by the persona “Kim” on behalf of Blue Cross NC.
Members can chat with “Kim” to be directly connected to their PCP on file to schedule an APV. If members don’t have a PCP on file, they have the option to respond in the text message to have Blue Cross NC help them find one.
