Reminder: Practitioners & Facility Providers Verify Accuracy of Directory Information
Thousands of North Carolinians access Blue Cross NC’s online provider directory regularly to seek care services or confirm physician location, services, and contact information. Having accurate provider details in the directory is essential to ensuring our communities can find the care they need. In addition, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, Blue Cross NC requires providers to attest to the accuracy of their information published in the online directory every 90 days.
How Do You Verify Your Data? If you are a non-delegated individual practitioner or facility provider, BetterDoctor, a solution of Quest Analytics, will contact you via email, fax, phone, and/or mail to verify your information every 90 days.
For large provider groups of 20+ providers, BetterDoctor accepts rosters for directory verification. Provider groups can contact BetterDoctor directly at rosters@questanalytics.com to request more information on the roster option.
No Contact From BetterDoctor? If you have not been contacted by BetterDoctor yet, the contact information we have on file may be incorrect. Go to Blue Cross NC’s website and click Providers and search for Demographic Change Form (PDF) and follow the Demographic and Contact Information (Job aid) (PDF) instructions.
