Blue Cross NC Receives Medicare Advantage Stars Rating Results
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) received the following MA Stars rating results from CMS.
- Blue Medicare Advantage HMO achieved 4 out of 5 stars.
- Blue Medicare Advantage PPO achieved 4.5 out of 5 stars.
- Experience Health achieved 4.5 out of 5 stars.
- Blue Cross NC Senior Health (D-SNP) achieved 2.5 out of 5 stars.
CMS factors in many measures for MA Stars Ratings, including the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS), the Health Outcomes Survey (HOS), the Healthcare Effectiveness and Data Information Set (HEDIS), Medicare Part C measures, and Medicare Part D measures.
Members will see these MA Stars ratings when shopping for health plans in the current 2024 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).
