Blue Cross NC Begins 2023 Annual Wellness Visit Campaign March 27, 2023 Blue Medicare

In late March 2023, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) will be launching its Annual Wellness Campaign for Medicare Advantage members. This three wave-campaign – with communications going out in late March, late May and late July – encourages Medicare Advantage members to schedule their Medicare Annual Wellness Visit with their primary care provider. It also promotes that they can receive a $50 reward for completing this visit.

The new features for the 2023 Annual Wellness Visit Campaign include:

  • Members identified through care gaps data as needing certain diabetes screenings can earn up to an additional $30 for completing those screenings in addition to their Annual Wellness Visit.
  • Waves one and three of this campaign will include a personalized Health Care Status check, showing members which screenings they should be getting (based on their care gap data), which of those screenings they’ve completed and which they still need to complete.
