State of Blue NC - The New Microsite About Our Work
For many years, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina published an annual Corporate Report showing our goals, progress, and plans for our company and how we are working to make health care better for all. This year, we launched a microsite, State of Blue NC, that will be updated throughout the year.
This microsite is designed to enable readers to understand the thought behind, and impact of, our multifaceted efforts to make health care better for all.
The site is divided into three sections:
- Our Customers
- Our Communities
- Our People
Our Customers covers our initiatives to improve insurance for our members and customers. This includes our efforts to increase access to better health care, improve affordability, and make the experience of using health insurance simpler and better.
Our Communities describes our work to make health care better for all people in North Carolina. This covers our efforts to make systems more equitable and to help underserved populations access what they need for good health in the meantime.
Our People encompasses our continued efforts to keep Blue Cross NC a great place to work, empower our employees, fulfill our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and adapt our hybrid workforce for the future.
