We have established Access to Care Standards to ensure patients get the quality care they need. Review our standards for primary care, urgent care, and more.

Through its Physician Advisory Group and Quality Improvement Committee, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) has established Access to Care Standards so that you'll know you can get the care you need, when you need it. We, along with our contracting physicians, are committed to meeting these standards in order to provide the best service possible. If you have any questions about these standards, please call the Customer Service number on your member ID card.
