What to expect
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) mail order prescription program offers you the convenience of receiving up to a 90-day supply of medication delivered to you with free standard shipping.
Typically, you should receive your prescription drugs within 5 to 14 days from the time the pharmacy receives the order. If you do not receive your prescription drug(s) within this time, please contact us at the phone number listed on the back of your member ID card.
Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan and stand-alone Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) members with pharmacy benefit coverage through Blue Cross NC can choose to get their prescriptions from any of our mail order pharmacies. However, preferred mail order pharmacies will provide the most cost-savings.
