Medicare Prescriptions by mail

Find out how to get your prescriptions by mail with standard delivery and 90-day supply through the Medicare prescription drug mail-order program.
Simplify your medications with Amazon Pharmacy

Amazon Pharmacy will be our only preferred mail-order pharmacy starting January 1, 2026. You can start receiving your medications straight to your door by registering online or by calling 833-566-7111 (TTY 711).

After you register, Amazon Pharmacy will need your prescription. You can either request a transfer from your current pharmacy, or you can have your doctor send a new prescription electronically, by fax, or by mail.

You should continue to get your short-term prescriptions, such as antibiotics, from your local pharmacy. You can log in to the member portal to find medications available for mail order.

How mail-order pharmacies work and what you'll get

Mail-order pharmacies safely deliver prescription medications in weather-proof packaging straight to your home, typically in five to 14 days. If you do not receive your medication within this time, please contact us at the phone number listed on the back of your member ID card.

Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan and stand-alone Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) members with pharmacy benefit coverage through Blue Cross NC can choose to get their prescriptions from any of our mail-order pharmacies. However, preferred mail-order pharmacies will provide the most cost savings.
