As a group consultant, Jessica Miles supports FEP members and agency benefits officers.

Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She began her career as a program manager for L&T Health & Fitness, working with major government agencies, including Freddie Mac and the Department of Justice. She also served as a White House trainer under the Clinton administration and taught in the health promotion department at American University as an adjunct professor.

Jessica has served on the National Panel of Advisors for the Wellness Council of America, as well as advisory boards for Wachovia and the Local Government Federal Credit Union. She holds dual insurance licenses in life and health and property and casualty.

She joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) in 2012. In 2023, she was recognized as MVP of the Blue Cross NC Federal Employee Program.

Jessica loves working with her members and providing the information they need to make good decisions about their health. Her favorite saying is from Maya Angelou, “When you know better, you do better.”
