Reminder: It's Important to Review and Update Your Provider Email Address in Blue e
March 1, 2021 Update: This communication has been updated to include information on Two Factor Authentication.
Due to the rise in health care fraud and abuse activity, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) will soon be enabling Two Factor Authentication on its provider portal, Blue e. To make sure that you maintain access to the portal, it is important to keep the contact information we have on file for you updated, especially your email address. You will soon be required to keep a valid email – one that is accessible to you – on file within your Blue e profile.
Keeping your information current:
- Ensures additional security to confirm your identity
- Helps us send your health care organization timely information and updates
Please log into Blue e and check your profile to verify your email address. It’s necessary that the email address on file is updated to continue to maintain access to the portal.
If you have any problems logging into the Blue e network, please call the Electronic Solutions (eSolutions) HelpDesk at 888-333-8594.
