Flu season is just around the corner, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) wants you and your employees to be prepared.
Getting a flu shot is the best way for people to protect themselves from the flu. That's why we're offering you the opportunity to host flu shot clinics at your worksite this fall.
Worksite Flu Shot Clinic Guidelines
- If more than one day is required, submit a form for each day a clinic is requested.
- Walgreens clinics will begin in September and LabCorp clinics will begin in October.
- A representative will contact you within 7-10 business days of submitting the form to finalize the flu shot clinic details. During peak request times, it may take slightly longer to confirm clinics.
- All claims will be filed claims electronically to Blue Cross NC for processing.
- Minimum of 50 participants needed.
Clinic Information:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Blue Cross NC members are at no-cost
- Supplies shipped to site 2 or 3 days before clinic
- Service available in all 50 states
- Clinics must be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance
