The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. The NCQA has awarded Blue Cross NC the status of “Accredited.” This accreditation means that our service and clinical quality meets the basic requirements of NCQA's rigorous standards for consumer protection and quality improvement.[D]
